Well ok, yeah, almost no one.....
Winger is back. And Kip Winger, always the charmer, has pulled a Mistyboy and is on the pre-emptive defensive in yesterday's Boston Herald...when asked about the scene in one of Metallica's videos where Lars is throwing darts at a pic o'Kip:
"Our drummer could outdrum Lars Ulrich with one hand tied behind his back" and that "Metallica have become the joke they said we were" (Which is funny because it's true, but regardless...).
I honestly couldn't give a rats ass about either band, but hey, it's pretty funny. This guy will not let it go. According to Wiki, Stewart got his Winger t-shirt because Kip was whining about the fear of a Winger presence on Beavis & Butthead:
"That is why it's the great irony that we ended up on that geeky guy's shirt on Beavis & Butthead, because Metallica couldn't play what we play, they couldn't do it, they literally - technically couldn't do it. And I'll fucking challenge those chumps to that any day of the week that they couldn't go back and play our shit, but we could play theirs with our hands tied behind our back. And so, I was a little t'd off about that, but in the end, none of that shit matters..." And of course, there's his legendary challenging other frontmen to a ballet-off because he was sick of being called a sissy for doing ballet.
Since I don't have any other way to close this post, I'll completly change musical gears and talk about TMBG, who just released the newest episode of their podcast ( http://www.tmbw.net/wiki/index.php/Podcast_22A ) and amongst the highlights, an extremly cool outake from their episode of Home Movies "Camp"...the songs Clean Bean and I'm Just a Note with extra lines and dialogue. RABBIT TROOP FOREVER!!!!!
